In this workshop, Visiting Artist Robert Dvorak will create a relaxed environment that will make it easy to learn at a pace that is both nurturing and comfortable. You will experience the joy of drawing as you develop new skill sets. The goal is for each student to build confidence, creativity, and imagination, but most of all the goal is to have fun and to help you find enjoyment in the creative drawing process. Robert’s belief is that learning and progress come as a natural and effortless result of enjoying what you do. If you enjoy the drawing process, then you will be motivated to practice drawing and learn effortlessly. In this workshop you will learn the best ways to practice drawing to learn quickly.
Students will leave with a firm foundation and appreciation for the art of drawing by learning:
-How to see without judgment
-How to begin every drawing
-How to develop confidence of line
-How to discover your own personal style
-What subjects to consider
-To draw with feeling and for fun
-To draw quickly and effortlessly
-Ten ways to achieve depth on a two dimensional piece of paper
